Our Story
Founded in Brooklyn, New York, in 2021 — built to finance the systems the energy transition depends on.
Scalar International began with specialized financing for infrastructure and property-improvement initiatives, with an emphasis on energy solutions in historically disadvantaged communities (DACs).
Collaborations with housing authorities across the Northeastern U.S. — including the City of Meriden CT, New York, and Hillsborough County FL — laid the foundation for our efficiency-first model. In 2023, Scalar expanded into Africa while maintaining its Northeast U.S. operations.
